Weddings

Onsite makeup for the bride and/or the bridal party

The cost includes a pre-makeup application for the bride and planning for the makeup look for the entire party (there is always that loved one whose makeup look is not congruent with the theme)

Don't forget the mothers of the bride and groom!

We will plan for the timing to work with the photographer and any other elements to be considered.

Remember: No groom wants to see someone he doesn't recognize coming down the aisle, but you do want him to have a wonderful memory he'll never forget.

For those being married out of town or who just want to do it themselves

Special Occasions

Proms, parties, a friend's wedding, or any special time in your life when you want help to look your best.

Makeup Lessons

General Makeup Lesson

If you have never had a makeup lesson: you will receive a consultation, makeup plan, tools, practice applying one side of face yourself, and get written information and recommendations for purchasing. There is no pressure to buy products.

Age appropriate makeup lesson

Update your makeup style! Lessons are perfect if you have never had a professional makeup lesson, need a makeup change to go with the changes associated with the aging face, or desire a "less is more" look that can take years off your appearance. Learn about brighteners, mineral makeup, concealing in the right places, contouring and more.

Teen Makeup Lesson

The first makeup lesson: learn the basics of application, the tools, and what look is for you when you first start to apply makeup.

Sometimes it is best if someone other than "Mom" is the instructor. Like teaching her to drive, it's often easier and better to leave it to an expert.

Introductory makeup lessons are perfect for those who are afraid of the sometimes nightmare experience at the makeup counter. It's private, one-on-one, there's no pressure to buy, easily replicated, and most of all it's fun.

Makeup for Trauma Survivors

Makeup application and lessons to help "ease the way" when living in our appearance-conscious society. I specialize in corrective makeup for:

• Burn survivors/other facial conditions that leave scars
• Correction and normalization of skin tones and lost features
• Balancing of the symmetry of the face and body
• Total cover of tattoos, brown spots, scars with color, and blood vessels

Does corrective makeup make sense to you? We will discuss the option of using makeup and whether it can look natural. I use a combination of makeup brands, not necessarily thick cover makeup.

My goal is "correction, not camouflage, and no masks".

The canvas for the makeup is well-attended-to skin. I can help you find the skin care that is right for your lifestyle and your skin type.

Product Recommendations

A thorough consultation about your skin care needs is the beginning. Whether it is acne, hyperpigmentation, lines and furrows, or sagging, skin care can help.

I will teach you about antioxidants, peptide therapies, exfoliation, proper cleansing and moisturizers.

I will draw from the many great products on the market and give you options taking into consideration both your needs and your budget.

Skin Care Professional Treatments

I will review the many factors that you should evaluate when deciding on professional treatments:

• Peels: light to aggressive, downtime, risks, benefits, and candidacy
• Microdermabrasion: risks and benefits, and candidacy
• Facials: Are regular monthly facials enough? What you should you expect from a good facial.

I will help you decide whether to see a doctor for any skin issues you may be encountering. I do not give medical advice, only guidance to a qualified physician.
